Phuket is one of Thailand’s major travel destinations because of its beautiful beaches, pretty happening nightlife, and amazing scenery (did I say the beaches look gorgeous)? While Phuket is one of the touristy and more developed destinations in Thailand, it can still be experienced for a modest price tag if that’s your goal, since it is Thailand.

Average meal - $1.25 is normal
Beer - $1.50-3.00, international beers & upscale clubs $3.75
Pack of cigarettes - $1.50
Hostel dorm bed- $3 possible, but usually $6 and up
Transportation - Buses roughly $.60, tuk-tuks around $7, and motorcycle taxis around $1.50
Internet - $1.50/hour
